— Frequently Asked Questions

What mattress thickness and size should I buy

All beds, bunks and loft beds take standard size mattresses. For the top bunk or loft beds maximum thickness mattress is 9 inches, but if you do have a thicker mattress please let us know, as we have some options for you. Lower bunk and regular beds take any thickness you choose. If you have further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Can you build me a picnic table?

We could, but no! Maybe in the future, but not right now…

Actually, we looked into this. There are many things we could build, besides beds and bed related products. But if we started building picnic tables, for example, then we’d have to dedicate extra time and extra space for materials and finished product that would interfere with our primary business.

Can I order a custom bed?

Yes, but you will have to detail exactly what you want and be prepared to accept what you ordered. We will confirm every detail with you before starting work.

We can make some changes to the beds and accessories to suit your specific needs. We can customize height, length and width within the basic design.  At the end of the day, we can make the bed taller, shorter, longer, narrower; you just have to have a mattress that fits it.

Price will be calculated based on materials and work. We reserve the right to turn down the order if it overly impacts other orders.

I don’t live in Greater Vancouver. Can I order from you?

Yes, but first check if there is a 1800BunkBed representative that serves your area. After all, shipping can be expensive!  Call 1-800-BUNKBED and you will be automatically forwarded to the nearest representative, if there is one.

If there isn’t a nearby representative, then we will be happy to take your order.

BTW, if there isn’t anyone serving your area, perhaps there is a business opportunity! :>) Visit 1800bunkbed.com for details.
